Yesterday we had to work with buddy to design and then create a balloon man. We talked about how we would behave to work together as an effective part of a team.
Ms Daniels was very impressed with how we talked to each other and negotiated things like the colour ballon we wanted to use.
She told us she was blown away that we could remember the things to include in our writing too - who, when, where, what, and how.
Working Together to Make Balloon Faces
Hi Room 1,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ms Daniels. The Room One children worked so well in a team. I was so impressed how thoughtful you all were to each other, considering each others opinions and then making a decision.
Great work everyone.
Mrs Webb
Room 1 it is great to see you learning to work as TEAMS - that is so important as it makes everyone feel important and that their ideas are valued. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI was interested to see that Fleur made an unhappy balloon face .... were you not feeling happy that day Fleur or did you just want to be different to everyone else?
Keep up the good work R. 1.:-)
Mrs Clark
Thank you for your comments. Mrs Clark, each pair had to make two different faces - one which was a happy face and the other a face of their choosing. One of the challenges to negotiate was which team member made which face :-)
