Today Lee and Rachel from Project Energize came and taught us some large ball skills to help us get ready for our winter sports.
This time we worked on netball type skills like catching and doing a chest pass. We worked hard on watching the ball and making sure the person we were throwing to was ready.
It was heaps of fun!
We practised holding the ball with two hands and watching
where we were and then who we had to pass to.

We made chicken wings to throw great chest passes.

Looking where we were throwing was really important.
We had to push the ball from our chest.

Keeping our eye on the ball made catching easier.
We had to pull the ball into our chest as we caught it.

We practised all our skills by playing some games.
Good luck to our soccer, netball and hockey teams this weekend.
Play hard and play fair!
